Don’t know if ths will work, YW but..The fixtures for Arsenal and Tottenham go as follows;

Us Them

21st Jan Man Utd (h) Fulham (a)
24th Jan Them (a) Us (h)
28th Jan Bolton (h) S’end/Barnsley? (h)
31st Jan Them (h) Us (a)
3rd Feb M’boro (a) Mancs (h)

If they lose against Cardiff they will have a big gap between games and will obviously play their strongest side. Even if they beat Cardiff the fixture between our games is kinder to them.

But you know what it does’nt really matter because either of our teams are capable of beating them.

I think the Tiny Tots will beat Cardiff at home, perhaps even field a weakened team.

Don’t under-estimate the Fulham game; having beaten us and drawn at Chelsea, they will be pushing hard for a win and it is a derby after all. Even so, the Mancs are a tougher proposition but I believe that the harder the match the sharper the team becomes.

The confidence imbued by that win is incalculable. By the time of first leg, and touch wood no new injuries occur, a full first team squad should be available which is something new for us this season. With that at hand, there is little or no reason for Arsene to be so bold as he was with last night’s team selection. Perhaps include Traore and maybe Denilson but we shall see in a fortnight’s time.

asenal must win
